As all Madcatteres T  Parties , this one brought joy and fun to the attendants.
Meals were shared, rides at different levels were run, help was given to the ones who needed help, stories were shared around the invisible total fire ban campfire. Videos of past glories were revived by the projector and laughter and banter echoed across the valley.
We even had a birthday party, with magnificent and delicious Thai food, cake and dessert, made by Clinton and Shelby (other helpers were in the kitchen too).

Friday was the big get together with mates we have not seen in a long time. There were rides with not much to report other than happy times and a grin on their faces.  Then it was the birthday dinner party. Cordiality and mateship was the atmosphere of the night.

Saturday started with a classic breakfast of champions , eggs, bacon, toast bread, coffee; And people willing to go for day ride.

Ride L2 led by Andrew Robertson headed to Eildon, sweeping Graeme and Tim R. Little they knew about the thesaurus Jerusalem Creek who made Scott rear tyre’s tube go flat … 2 times. The rescue team  Dean and Rob departed  Ride L3 to provide help to the fallen one. Old and new members arrive at the campsite looking happy after a good ride in hot weather.

The L3 ride, led by Wayne, was a classic Wayne ride. Within 5 min we had a U-turn and within 10 min a bike was on the ground (only 1 U-turn though). Riders were very quick at helping anyone who needed a bit of help. Stops were made to catch up and rest after difficult sections.

We all ended up at the pub in Reefton in time for a well deserved lunch and cold drinks.

The return had a refreshing stop for a swim in the mighty Yarra River. (the river does not look that big in the photo)

The L4 ride, managed by the Davey family.
Matt leading and Cade or Logan sweeping (I am sorry, I can’t remember who was sweeping). They show their skills and quality on a very hot day.

Groups  L3 and L4 share tracks and time together at the pub.
The mighty Yarra river also saw the L4 group enjoying the cool water after a hot day.

The dinner, spit roast provided by Roderick, proved to make people happy. All seated  around the invisible total fire ban campfire or nearby.

Once the sun departed its way under the horizon, videos of rides from the past were protected to be watched under the star lights. Memories were brought back and stories were amplified by the ones in the film.

Sunday was again a breakfast of champions and then a massive clean up of the whole place with the help of the same people who made a mess the days before,

Big thanks to the organiser and volunteers, who year after year come to the Madcatters T Party and make this club great.
