Our route was planned as simple , and all weather… but with scenery, sights , bends and “ups and downs” …. And it gave all it promised ! All the ups and downs in the roads – not the riders !
Lunch was a quiet affair involving Hot Pies and Sausage Rolls .. a true “gastronome delight”. ! , but in the cold cloud where we were in Alexandra – it didn’t seem to matter ..
Coming back the GPX Gods decided to play a little “catch me if you can ..” But never mind – we found a cool little bypass route – and it only “hinted” at the dreaded Toolangi Clay … A terrific run had by all , and a return into the sunshine at Yarra Glen and Coldstream ..
